As part of their growth strategy, they are looking to expand their team with a dynamic and technically proficient Engineering Sales Manager.
Your new role
Your new role will involve working closely with the regional director to develop and implement a sales strategy aimed at achieving revenue targets and increasing market share. You will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities in both established and emerging markets. Your role will also include building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing technical support and expertise, and conducting market research to inform them about sales strategies. Flexibility is key, as each day will bring new opportunities and challenges. Training will be provided in Cumbria or Grunberg, Germany as required.
What you'll need to succeed
What you'll need to succeed is a strong understanding of the electrical industry, with experience in sales being preferable. However, candidates with a solid electrical knowledge and experience of managing electrical failures and problem-solving will also be considered. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for establishing and maintaining customer relationships. You should be proactive, with excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. A willingness to travel extensively across Ireland is also required.
