Position: SEND Teacher Location: Uxbridge Contract Type: Full Time, Long Term Start Date: ASAP Salary: £800 - £1,200 per week

As a SEND Teacher, you will inspire and guide students with behavioural needs and Autism Spectrum Condition, helping them realise their full potential and fostering a passion for learning.
About the Role
We're excited to collaborate with an OFSTED-rated 'Outstanding' Special Needs School in Uxbridge, serving post-16 students. The class comprises 8 students with behavioural needs and ASC, supported by a team of 6 committed Teaching Assistants, including one dedicated 1:1 TA. Our school is focused on four broad categories of need: communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, as well as sensory and/or physical needs. What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Overseas Teaching Certificate recognised by Naric.
* Experience working with students with SEND, especially those with behavioural needs and ASC, in mainstream or specialised educational settings.
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A current DBS check on the update service.
* Experience with PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Rapid Prompting Method, and other augmentative and alternative communication techniques is a plus but not required.
Your Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCP plans.
* Conduct assessments and ensure the safeguarding of pupils.
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for students.
* Encourage independence and promote the well-being and welfare of students.
* Teach a range of subjects, including Maths, English, PSHCE, World of Work, and PE.
