Job Title: Therapy Lead – Mental Health Hospital
Salary: £44,000 to £50,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)
Location: Bristol – On-site

Compass Associates is working with a prestigious mental health provider in Bristol to recruit an experienced Therapy Lead to join their established and supportive therapy team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within a well-regarded hospital, where you will oversee both inpatient and outpatient therapy services and make a real impact on the recovery journey of your patients.
As the Therapy Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing the inpatient therapy provision and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care through a multidisciplinary approach. You will be responsible for leading a diverse team of therapists and allied health professionals (AHPs) while also focusing on the development and innovation of services to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
About the Role:
Leadership & Support: Lead and support a diverse team of therapists, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and other therapy professionals. Ensure high-quality, person-centred therapy interventions are provided to both inpatient and outpatient clients.
Management of Services: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the therapy services, including inpatient therapy provision, day care, and outpatient services. Manage resources efficiently to ensure the team can deliver effective care.
Collaboration & Innovation: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and improve the therapeutic environment. You will be expected to foster innovation within the team and implement business development strategies to grow and enhance the service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead a team of therapy professionals, ensuring effective service delivery and providing professional guidance.
2. Drive business development and innovation within therapy services, identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings.
3. Manage therapy provision across both inpatient and outpatient services.
4. Work collaboratively with other departments and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
5. Provide supervision, line management, and support for junior therapists.
6. Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care pathways.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. At least 3 years of experience working as a therapist in a mental health setting.
2. Leadership or management experience within a similar environment (preferred), or a strong desire to develop leadership skills.
3. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and leading therapy services.
4. Business development skills to drive innovation and expand service offerings.
5. A passion for leading teams and enhancing patient outcomes in a recovery-focused environment.
