Location: Based at our client site in Brighton, however, travel will be required regularly throughout the UK portfolio, and EMEA on infrequent occasions, at the request of the client.

Job Description:
• Responsible for maintaining compliance for fire safety and emergency evacuations for the UK client facilities.
• Accountable for the delivery of awareness training for Fire and Emergency building procedures to all client staff members.
• Take ownership for the coordination of all fire safety programs within building management in leased facilities.
• Accountable for regular, fire safety refresher training for Emergency Team members.
• Responsible for the delivery of Fire Safety training for all new Emergency Wardens and/or Global Security Guards.
• Produce and be ready to deliver Emergency Team member training, that covers these topics as a minimum:
a. Emergency procedures.
b. Workplace fire safety.
c. Fire safety incident reporting.
d. Fire Extinguisher training.
• Coordinate fire evacuation drills, complying with client policy and local Laws and Regulations.
• Communicate all findings of fire evacuation drills with agreed stakeholder groups.
• Carry out Fire Risk Assessments to all buildings annually or as required.
• Assist local regulatory agencies, as required.
• Be responsible for ensuring that all staff locations (working floors) have suitable and relevant Fire Safety information displayed.
• Undertake Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP) for all identified Persons Requiring Assistance (PRA), in accordance with client policy and local legal requirements.
• Create Fire Safety Awareness campaigns for the UK market, agreed by the Regional Fire Safety Coordinator – EMEA
• Support and engage with the client Fire and Emergency departments values and vision.
• Carry out any reasonable management request.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate fire evacuation drills complying with client policy and local Laws and Regulations, communicate all findings with agreed stakeholders.
• Proactively drive the standard of training content and delivery to the appropriate client audience to instill a safer working environment for all.
• Act as the global point of escalation for all Database enquiries.
• Support the Regional Fire Safety Coordinator – EMEA
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and regional relevant data protection regulations.
Person Specific
• A recognised Fire safety qualification to include FRA.
• A recognised H&S qualification (preferred)
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with critical attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and scheduling skills
• Numerate, with an ability to understand and produce basic analytical data and information.
• Creative and flexible in approach with an ability to take responsibility and manage conflicting/ shifting work priorities and multitask across activities.
• Five years’ checkable history and references
• To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards
