An average day as a Business Manager…
12. To maximising the profitable sales of finance and insurance products.
13. To assist in the closing of vehicle sales by providing finance products as an aid to selling.
14. To secure finance business using providers approved by Your Dealership Ltd.
15. To ensure Your Dealership Ltd.’s F & I policies are followed by all staff when using finance and insurance products.
16. To ensure that Sales Management, General Management and other front line sales staff are kept abreast of developments in the finance and insurance market.
17. To enhance the reputation of Your Dealership Ltd. at every opportunity when interacting with others.
18. Help to develop the dealership’s marketing plan by using expertise to provide suggestions involving finance and insurance products.
19. Participate in the planning and marketing of special events and other marketing initiatives.
20. Ensure that every vehicle is displayed with a finance example, prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Trading Standards Authorities.
21. Facilitate the process whereby every customer is quoted a monthly payment as well as a vehicle price.
22. Maintain an organised approach and method in all administrative and clerical functions.
23. Ensure that all paperwork within the department is completed accurately, completely and within timescales set.
24. Ensure that all finance quotations and other documentation are prepared within required timescales. Ensure that outstanding paperwork is followed up and chased, thus avoiding delays and penalties.
25. Report as required by Dealer Principal, General and other Managers, including the timely completion of all weekly/ monthly reports and returns.
About you…
26. Have up-to-date knowledge and relevant experience gained within the finance and insurance industry.
27. Have the ability to build good customer relationships and negotiate profitable transactions.
28. Have the ability to mentor and develop others while being regarded as a member of a team.
29. Be able to develop contacts within the F & I industry.
30. Have an understanding of the legal, tax and fiscal implications of Finance and Insurance.
