As a UTC, we admit students at the start of Key Stage 4 (Year 10), allowing us to focus on delivering a curriculum that balances academic rigour with vocational specialisms, preparing students for successful futures without the constraints of Progress 8 and EBacc measures.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire as a Teacher of Media. You will:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging Content Production / Broadcast Media lessons to Key Stage 4 and 5 students under the UAL Creative Media Production and Technology specficiation. Our subjects are technical, vocational and practical - you won't be teaching GCSE or A Level Media and Film Studies!
* Play a pivotal role in developing and launching our Key Stage 5 Content Production course in September 2025.
* Collaborate with industry partners to ensure the curriculum reflects current trends and skills demanded by the creative industry.
* Guide and mentor students as they develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge relevant to broadcast media, creative production, studio operations, social media .etc
* Contribute to wider academy initiatives, such as supporting G:Ventures extra curricular and potentially teaching EPQ, PSHE, Media Business and Careers.
* Inspire students to Think Big, Keep it Simple, Own it, and Be Better Together .
