About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Engineer to join our team as a Technical Liaison. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to designated customers, reviewing customer requests, and assessing feasibility and best methods for growth.
As a Technical Liaison, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure successful product development and manufacturing. You will work closely with the commercial team and business unit to identify customer needs and develop solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Technical liaison to designated customers for specific product requests and offerings
* Reviewing customer requests and assessing feasibility and best method for growth
* Technical lead for all customer epitaxial development queries and programs
* MOCVD III-V epitaxy recipe development and production support
* Advisor to the Technology Group regarding generic process improvements
* Driving qualification activities, data correlation studies, and continuous improvement activities
* Managing large and disparate data sets and distilling information into concise presentations and recommendations
* Reviewing and interpreting characterization and device fabrication data
* Reviewing specifications for accuracy and manufacturing feasibility
* Monitoring and improving statistical process control charts
* Correlating internal quality data with customer data
* Participating in system troubleshooting and conducting failure analyses
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Semiconductor Engineer with a strong background in compound semiconductor epitaxy and MOCVD III-V epitaxy. The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics, and will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Desired qualifications include:
* BS/MS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
* Semiconductor device epitaxial growth experience
* Proficient in statistical process control techniques and data analysis software such as JMP
* Applications support and semiconductor process experience
* Hands-on reactor experience
