Are you an experienced contracts professional looking to join a dynamic team where you can lead, innovate, and make a significant impact? We are seeking a Senior Contracts Adviser to oversee and execute end-to-end Category Management and Contracting Processes (CMCP) while fostering collaboration, leadership, and excellence across teams.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Contracts Adviser, your responsibilities will include:
Safety and Compliance
Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations, legislation, and internal HSES procedures.
Maintain alignment with the organization’s Ethics and Compliance Policies, including completing mandatory compliance training.
Contract Strategy and Management
Develop and implement commercial solutions that address business needs and drive innovation.
Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, from strategy and documentation to post-award management.
Draft contracts, amendments, and robust management plans, incorporating KPIs as required.
Lead supplier relationships and foster continuous performance improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create demand forecasts and category plans.
Act as the liaison between internal functions like Legal, Insurance, and other risk management teams.
Stakeholder Engagement and Market Expertise
Build strong relationships with internal customers, becoming a trusted advisor in their operations.
Engage confidently with senior-level suppliers and develop networks in the market to identify opportunities and innovations.
Leverage a deep understanding of supply markets and modern procurement tools to deliver value-driven solutions.
Team Leadership
Inspire and develop peers and colleagues through exemplary leadership and communication.
Lead multi-functional teams for procurement projects, fostering collaboration and a shared vision.
Qualifications and Experience
Education and Certifications:
Degree in Business Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field, or significant long-term experience in Contracts and Procurement (C&P).
MCIPS qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Professional Experience:
Proven leadership and people management experience.
Strong background in category planning, ITTs, contract drafting, and award recommendations, ideally within the energy sector.
Experience in offshore operations and technical understanding.
Expertise in contract negotiations, tender evaluations, and supplier relationship management.
