Our Public Body Client requires a Project Administrative Assistant / Document Controller to join a project team to manage the delivery of civil engineering and construction projects. Working closely with the Project Director and senior Project Managers, you will play a key role in supporting the Project Management Team on a future programme of work.

As Project Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to the engineering projects team in Belfast.
Your new role will include but not limited to the following
1. Document Control – ensure ongoing compliance with ‘Records Management’
2. Collating project information and tracking progress for elements of the Programme e.g. BREEAM evidence etc.
3. Schedule and co-ordinate meetings and appointments, workshops, consultation and engagement events.
4. Compile project team and associated working group documentation including progress reports, agendas and minute taking.
5. Pro-actively track the key project deliverables against budget cost schedule, project plan and quality plan.
6. Liaise with Marketing department to progress project artwork and publicity materials.
7. Handle requests for information and data and prepare written responses to enquiries.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
8. At least two years’ experience in a similar support role within a construction project environment such as Project Administration or Document Control.
9. A good level of IT literacy, especially using MS Office suite.
10. At a minimum, HNC in a Business, Project Management, Administration or other relevant course.
As a Project Administrator, you must have strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills, as well as a highly organised approach. Committed and loyal, you must also be able to work effectively and as part of a team.Previous experience of using Common Data Environment Software for BIM or an equivalent package would be beneficial to your application but not essential. Training and support will be provided to enable you to progress within the Team.
