Our client, a large Defence supplier is looking for an Electronics Test Technician to join them on a permanent basis at their site in Farnborough.
1. Due to the nature of the role, we are only able to consider sole British nationals and applicants must be eligible to obtain SC Clearence.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join the Operations Department. The role will require the ability to troubleshoot to component level using Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), circuit diagrams and debug software. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for Fault Finding to component level on both RF modules and complex CCA's, performing assembly/test of highly complex assemblies used in military communications. The role will involve some design/development and improvements to existing processes and procedures for new products working to tight timescales.

11. What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
12. Working closely with other departments (Operations Test/Troubleshoot, Manufacturing Engineering, QA, Program Management) to ensure a successful outcome.
13. Test Procedures - may be required to assist with the preparation of production test procedures from engineering specifications to assure that the product is being adequately tested in every parameter required.
14. Assist on cost reduction and records to identify problem areas in test.
The role of Manufacturing Technician requires the following experience and skills:
15. Requires strong knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
16. Broad knowledge of component level troubleshooting
17. RF or Digital CCAs knowledge and experience would be desirable
18. Radio communications background or experience
19. HNC/HND/Graduate Degree with substantial years of related experience
