Maintenance Manager
Fakenham, Norfolk
Circa £60k per annum plus bonus, healthcare & wider package
Step into a role where your engineering leadership will shape the future
You’re already hands-on, solutions-focused, and driven to get the best out of your team—but now you’re looking for something bigger. A challenge that matches your ambition, where your leadership can have a real, tangible impact.
This is that role.
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll take the reins of all site maintenance for a leading and investing ingredients manufacturer. With ambitious capital projects in motion, you’ll be right at the centre of some major upgrades—both for the business and your own career.
But this isn’t just about keeping things ticking. It’s your opportunity to elevate maintenance across the site—developing preventative systems, raising standards, and leading a skilled engineering team to new heights.
You’ll report into an inspiring senior team who are genuinely invested in growth, giving you the backing as well as the autonomy to make a lasting impact.
You will also gain exposure to leading small CAPEX projects for the site whilst being supported by a group engineering team to ensure success.
The site is nestled in the beautifully idyllic Norfolk countryside, however due to this getting to site via public transport may be a challenge.
The Business
This company is major player in the ingredients sector, and whilst having a very personal and family feel around the site, they’ve got the backing from a much larger international group.
This will give you the best of both worlds with the scope and funding to grow much further, but also making an impact on a much more personal level.
There’s exciting change ahead—and you’ll be a key part of it.
Here’s what you’ll need:
To really thrive in this role, you’ll be someone who’s already led engineering teams within a manufacturing environment—ideally in FMCG or industrial production processing.
You’ll know your way around Planned Preventative Maintenance systems and have a solid grounding in both mechanical or electrical engineering (being multiskilled would be a real bonus).
Whether you’ve got a formal qualification or you’ve come up the time-served route, what really matters is your ability to lead from the front—coaching your team, solving problems hands-on, and always pushing for better.
You’ll be someone who’s collaborative by nature but confident enough to take ownership and drive change when it’s needed.
