The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of plant machinery and automated equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity. Key responsibilities include:
1. Fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing all plant machinery, including palletisers, injection moulding, and robotics
2. Performing preventative and total productive maintenance (PPM/TPM)
3. Fault-finding and diagnostics on PLC systems, including Alan Bradley and Siemens
4. Working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
5. Resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime
6. Managing and ordering stock parts for maintenance
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
1. A recognised Engineering Qualification or be Apprentice Trained
2. Ideally, hold an 18th Edition certification
3. Proven ability to fault-find, diagnose, and repair machinery with minimal downtime
4. Experience working with PPM schedules and within FMCG environments
5. Preferably 70% Mechanical/30% Electrical, though other biases will be considered
