Chronos Energy are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager for our client, an energy infrastructure developer and asset owner. The company are developing large scale Heat Networks as well as managing and improving large energy infrastructure assets.
The Commercial manager will managing and negotiating client contracts and be responsible for driving the profitability of our client's operational assets. You will be working closely with operational personnel, finance team and senior management team. You will be working with the finance team and managing the investment plan for the operational portfolio.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and landowners
* Managing and actioning key contract renewals and other commercial contractual activities
* Identifying opportunities for expansion and growth and working with technical colleagues to provide strong solutions for clients
* Closing out new deals
* Assisting the Operational team in assessing and executing new organic growth opportunities & operational improvement initiatives
* Assisting the Operational team in presenting opportunities to ensure they are fully assessed from a commercial risk and impacts perspective
* Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, particularly existing and potential customers
* Preparing proposals for new business opportunities
Skills and Experience:
* A degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related field
* An understanding of technical aspects in the power industry
* Strong negotiation skills and experience working on contractual negotiations, managing contracts and assessing opportunities from a commercial perspective
* Strong ability to carry out financial analysis to inform business decisions
* Experience in assessing financial models to ensure rigour in negotiations and in assessing risks and opportunities
