Full time, 36 hours per week.
Predominately you will be expected to work day shifts from 07:30 - 20:00, and on occasion you may be required to work night shift from 19:30 - 08:00.
A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Oakwood is an acquired brain injury unit based in Offerton, Stockport. You will be supporting adults living with the effects of an acquired brain injury or associated neurological conditions. You will be working alongside our physiotherapy team, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapists and Neuropsychologist, ensuring goals and interventions set by our therapy team are met.
As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire, you will become part of a fantastic team. You will provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, leading with passion and enthusiasm to promote positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
You will ensure our customers receive the very best care, personal support, and assistance with daily life tasks. Supporting our Person Centred approach, you will ensure maximum independence for our customers and help them to achieve individual aspirations.

To be successful in this role you will:
* Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ) or be willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
* Have experience in supervising a team.
* Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
* Be experienced in working within a care setting.
* Have the flexibility to work within rostered hours and be prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.
