Job Title:PA support worker Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham Job Location: 53a Ipstones Avenue Salary - £11.84 per hour Contract type - Permanent Working hours - Full Time/Part Time ( 1 x 28 1 X 35 and 1 X bank staff ) About the Service Successful applicant will be working with three adults with learning disability, autism and behaviours that challenges. Working within a team and supporting customers with all aspects of support and care: record keeping, personal care, support when eating, food preparation, managing behaviour, health and safety, fire safety, supporting independence, supporting with activities and daily living skills, medication administration, maintaining care plans, sound time keeping, completion of all mandatory training About the role Initial induction consists of a weeks training with shadowing days at scheme following completion of induction. Responsibilities are that you support/complete personal care with residents, Support with medication, support with preparation of meals and follow guidance to support residents at mealtimes. Support with booking and attending health appointments with the residents recording all changes and information given. Support with accessing the community for social events generally supporting the residents to meet their needs in regards to daily living All actions have to be recorded on our electronic system, individuals must be able to work as part of the team and also on occasion lone working.
