Station Supervisor – London Southend Airport (SEN)
Groundlink is a European group, providing services in the aviation industry. GroundLink was founded in 2008 and is currently present in 28 airports throughout 6 different countries.
The Station Supervisor role mainly consists of directly coordinating cleaning teams assigned to aircraft cleaning and ensuring that high-quality standards are achieved in all services delivered to our clients.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Station and all its Staff/Teams.
2. Coordinate the teams and manage the shifts.
3. Comply with scheduled services.
4. Respond quickly to extra services/unforeseen situations.
5. Be part of the teams that provide the cleaning and washing services.
6. Audit the services provided by the Station workers.
7. Coordinate and apply Security Checks as required.
8. Liaise with Airport authorities, managers, and clients.
9. Send reports and paperwork to the head office in due time.
10. Provide on-job training.
To succeed in the role the candidate will need:
1. Training and/or Education in the aviation sector.
2. Knowledge of Safety Management System (preferably).
3. Be a reliable leader who leads by example.
4. Be a team worker with a positive attitude.
5. Be physically fit and able to work within aircraft cabin confined areas.
6. Customer-oriented.
7. Ability to work independently to a high standard.
8. Ability to work at a fast pace within the tight schedules of a busy operational environment.
9. Driving license.
10. Availability to work in rotating shifts, including night shifts.
11. Availability to travel.
12. Availability to adjust schedule to resolve matters outside of working hours when emergencies arise.
The candidate will also need:
1. Five-year fully checkable employment reference history.
2. Criminal Record certificate.
3. Contract.
