Maximise continuous improvement opportunities in all areas, through review of operations and implementing improvements. Motivateandencourageateambydevelopingteamworkandsupporting effective communications. Acceptingpersonalaccountabilityforhealthandsafety,trainingand development, resolution of employee relation issues and concerns. Settingtargets,ensuringthesearemeasuredandmonitoredandtocaptureKey Performance Indicators, minimising waste. Budgetarycontroloftheshift,reducingspendwherepossibleanddrivecost saving ideas. Work with other departments in a team approach to provide an effective and efficient service to the Operations Manager and departments. Skills: Machinery knowledge. Understanding of BRC standards Understanding of GMP GoodstandardofspokenandwrittenEnglish,whichwillallowwritteninstructionsto be read and effectively communicated. Solid level of numeracy ability to calculate and report on performance. A high level of flexibility is required. Management and leadership skills. 3rd party audit experience HACCP qualification Food Hygiene qualification.
