Portfolio Sales Manager – B2B Trade Events
Full Time | Permanent | Competitive Salary + Uncapped Commission
Location: Chester Office/Remote Working (Flexible working policy). This role combines face-to-face and telephone sales with occasional UK and international travel.
Your Role
As Portfolio Sales Manager, you will spearhead revenue growth for TCT 3Sixty—The UK’s premier event for 3D printing and additive manufacturing. Your work will help reconnect global innovators, suppliers, and manufacturers with the biggest names in the industry. By leveraging your strong sales acumen and B2B events experience, you’ll ensure that TCT 3Sixty remains the must-attend event in this rapidly evolving space.
This is a dual-role opportunity:
* Account Management: Work with an established client base—featuring some of the top companies in the sector—to nurture and grow existing partnerships.
* New Business Development: Identify and secure opportunities with new clients, reconnecting and strengthening relationships with industry leaders to fuel portfolio growth.
You’ll sell a mix of exhibition space and sponsorship packages to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Growth: Achieve and surpass revenue targets through strategic, need-based sales proposals that highlight the unique value of TCT 3Sixty.
2. New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and close new clients in advanced manufacturing, 3D printing, and related technology sectors.
3. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, especially key players in the industry, acting as a trusted advisor.
4. Tailored Solutions: Craft custom packages that address client needs, helping them maximise their presence at TCT 3Sixty.
5. Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and execution of campaigns.
6. Market Insights: Stay at the forefront of industry developments and competitor activity to spot growth opportunities and reconnect with major brands.
7. Reporting: Provide accurate monthly forecasts and pipeline updates to the leadership team.
8. Travel: Represent TCT 3Sixty at key exhibitions, trade shows, and client meetings, both in the UK and internationally.
What We’re Looking For
1. Proven B2B Event Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in selling sponsorships, exhibition space, or advertising within trade events—ideally tech-focused.
2. Track Record of Success: A history of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
3. Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to deliver compelling presentations that showcase how TCT 3Sixty can help clients reconnect with top industry players.
4. Client-Centric Mindset: Builds rapport easily and provides consultative, solution-based pitches to meet client objectives.
5. Commercial Awareness: A strategic thinker who can spot opportunities for business expansion, especially in fast-changing tech sectors.
6. Organisational Expertise: Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
7. Tech Savvy: Confident in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital platforms—key for staying ahead in an innovation-driven sector.
8. Resilient & Adaptable: Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, with the flexibility to pivot quickly.
9. Willingness to Travel: Open to attending client meetings, trade shows, and events domestically and abroad.
