The Forensic Outreach and Liaison Service (FOLS) is a community-based service in Sussex providing holistic support to individuals with a mental health issue that relates to their offending/risk behaviour.
We are seeking a full-time, Band 7 Team Leader to work within our MDT.
We are seeking a confident Team Leader who can inspire, support and oversee the delivery of care to our clients.
You will be an integral part of the Forensic Community Service working within the Forensic Directorate, providing strong clinical leadership and contributing to service development.
You must be friendly, approachable, motivated and hard working with a passion for delivering high quality care.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to effective team working and have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Main duties of the job
This role is for an experienced mental health practitioner. A professional qualification is a necessity i.e. RMN, OT, Social Worker.
You will work closely with senior management and the provider collaborative.
You will ensure we are meeting the Key Performance Indicators and give regular updates on the team performance.
You will offer regular supervision/appraisals to the team.
You will manage a small case load supporting those with complex needs.

Job responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role are:
* To coordinate and lead team functioning with particular focus on management of referrals including delivery of care.
* Performance monitoring and management.
* Line Management and supervision of staff.
* To carry a clinical caseload as agreed with service manager and to take a lead on management of complex cases and supporting staff in management of such cases.
* To ensure the team functions in line with care group core business.
Pay Band: AFC Band 7 (travel expenses are paid according to AFC).
FOLS operational hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 17.00hrs.
Full-time hours: 37.5 hrs per week.
This role requires enhanced DBS clearance prior to an employment offer.
You are required to hold a professional qualification i.e. RMN, OT, Social Worker.
