Reporting to the Attendance Officer, you will assist Home Support managers in maximizing attendance by monitoring absence, scheduling attendance meetings, and completing appropriate paperwork. You will answer telephone calls and emails regarding absence and update systems, providing workforce support to the management team within the Home Support Service.
You will have an SVQ2, higher grade, or equivalent, and moderate experience working in an office environment. You will have experience using IT and MS365 Office systems, possess good interpersonal and organizational skills, remain calm when dealing with a high volume workload, and be able to run reports from departmental systems as required. A working knowledge of iTrent and the Council's Managing Attendance policy and procedures is desirable.
This post is temporary for a period until 03/10/2025.
