Summary of Role
To provide transactional support to the Edinburgh Commercial Real Estate team in connection with purchase, sale, lease transactions and ancillary support/admin services.
Key Tasks
* Preparing dispositions and other documents in sale/purchase of commercial real estate transactions.
* Preparing/checking draft LBTT forms.
* Carrying out searches on ScotLIS.
* Drafting and submitting Advance Notices.
* Drafting and negotiating lease management contracts such as rent review memoranda, licenses for works, minutes of variation.
* Supporting the Edinburgh real estate in legal administration of ongoing matters, including client onboarding and file opening.
* Assisting the team with the preparations and circulation of client reports.
Qualifications and Experience
* Must have a thorough understanding of the processes involved in a standard sale and purchase of commercial real estate.
* Must have had experience in commercial lease management work.
* Experience of working well in a team to deliver high levels of client service under time pressure.
* Paralegal or legal qualification would be preferred.

* You are personable and good at building and developing client relationships.
* You are confident and you have a strong belief in yourself and your own ability.
* You have excellent communication skills, you are articulate, you communicate clearly, concisely and without any jargon.
