Job Description
One of my top clients is currently on the lookout for a Document Controller to join their team. My client is a well-known construction firm in London that provides contracting and project management services to a range of clients in both the public and private sectors.
Due to increased workload within their business, they require an experienced Document Controller who will be responsible for the management and distribution of all drawings and documentation.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing & administrating the document control system
2. Uploading of the site(s) drawings
3. Maintaining up-to-date drawing files & registers
4. Printing, photocopying, collating & issuing of drawings
5. Managing external distribution and recording release of documentation
6. Managing, recording, and distributing incoming documents
7. Maintaining a central record of documents using codes and performing quality checks on all projects
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in managing the Document Control process
2. Efficient knowledge of using Outlook, Word & Excel packages
3. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to work well on their own as well as being a team player
