Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR / People Administrator to join our team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our HR processes while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure meticulous data integrity and quality in all HR records, reporting, and documentation.
* Take ownership of HR administration, including processing new joiners and leavers, maintaining employee records, and generating reports.
* Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and effective responses in-person, via telephone and via email.
* Support absence and performance management processes with accuracy and discretion.
* Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
* Assist in recruitment processes, contributing to a seamless and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers.
* Support the planning and execution of company and team events.
* Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
* Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
* Resilient, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* HR administration experience preferred; CIPD or HR degree desirable.
* Proficient in HRIS - ideally knowledge of IFS HCM but not essential, Microsoft Office, and data analysis.
* Strong communication skills with a customer-service focus.
* Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practice.
Additional Information
Working Hours: This is a full-time role, usually Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm.
