This part-time, temporary role is based in a dynamic and inclusive primary school in Cheshunt, London.
About the Role:
As a SEN TA focusing on challenging behaviours, you will play a vital role in helping children overcome barriers to learning. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to children with behavioural challenges in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Implementing positive behaviour strategies to foster emotional regulation and resilience.
• Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to create tailored support plans.
• Supporting the development of social and emotional skills through structured interventions and activities.
• Promoting a safe and nurturing environment that encourages growth and learning.

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children who exhibit challenging behaviours in a school or similar setting.
• A strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting children’s individual needs.
• A passion for education and making a positive impact.
