Reporting to our Finance Controller, you will help support Netcraft’s finance team to ensure all accounting documentation is correctly stored and maintained. Core activities include: Accurately maintaining accounting, customer, taxation and depreciation records; Invoicing and payment collection from customers; Reconciling bank statements; Reconciling balance sheet accounts; Specialist technology accounting workflow including R&D Relief and SaaS Metrics; Staff administration functions including processing bills and employee expenses; Property and other office management functions; Responding to finance related queries, items arising from company’s short-term issue workflow; Contributing to sales support and other customer facing activities. To be successful, you’ll need: A strong academic track-record; A candid and conscientious approach; Capable of building relationships with staff & clients and extending Netcraft's high level of repeat business; Attention to detail and determination to succeed; A positive solution focused approach; An understanding of accounting concepts including accrual basis accounting and double entry bookkeeping; Good communication skills and fluency in English (but other languages are very useful); Have a grasp of a broad range of contemporary internet & office technology e.g., Instant Messaging, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), wiki, and other social media platforms.
