The post holder will lead the implementation and delivery of the MICAD Internet Property Register (IPR) software package and the Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems into a Business as Usual process. This will involve supporting the scheduling, monitoring, reviewing and delivery of effective asset management, along with planned and reactive maintenance that meets the Health Boards statutory and other mandatory requirements. Main duties of the job The role will monitor and support the effective delivery of the Estates and Facilities Helpdesk (customer contact team) to ensure the MICAD and CAFM systems have suitable case workflows and Reporting to efficiently respond to and communicate with customers and both internal and external providers of Estates & Technical services. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Person Specification Knowledge Essential • Professional knowledge of Property Management, Building, Engineering or Asset and Facilities Management at Masters degree level qualification or equivalent experience. Desirable • Member of a relevant professional body e.g. IHEEM. Qualifications Essential • Accredited training in IT and Office packages (Excel, Work etc) to ECDL as a minimum. Desirable • Technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering or other relevant Hard Facilities Management area. Experience Essential • To have significant experience of managing a large Estates CAFM system and Assets. Desirable • Accredited training in CAFM system management. Other Essential • To have significant operational experience of delivery and managing a Hard FM service and dispute resolution. Desirable • Specialist knowledge acquired through post graduate courses. • Significant experience of working in an NHS/social care or voluntary sector setting.
