Our client is seeking a Director - IOM Local Markets to join their team.
The Director will deliver exceptional sales and business performance, whilst maintaining sound risk management, and building and maintaining highly proactive, long-term, internal and external business relationships. They will grow and develop a relationship with local Isle of Man corporate clients typically generating sustained revenue by becoming a “trusted advisor.”
Working with colleagues worldwide, the Director will use relevant experience to acquire, develop and service client relationships according to their investment and core banking needs, managing their client group within their risk profile and appropriate regulatory framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Actively manage and grow effective corporate client relationships.
* Work with colleagues to ensure a holistic service for clients and introduce specialists as appropriate to support.
* Manage solutions to meet a wide range of client needs, including banking, investments, foreign exchange, and wealth structuring (trusts).
* Construct credit proposals including risk analysis and mitigation for sanction by specialist team.
* Ensure conformity with global and market standards of client service, product delivery, and operating model.
* Maintain regular proactive contact with clients and respond swiftly to queries and questions.
* Demonstrate a quality understanding of the business and strategy of the clients within the portfolio.
* Identify opportunities and convert them for long-term commercial reward.
* Proactively acquire new clients through referrals from existing clients and relationships with a network of introducers.
* Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policy standards.
