The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex litigation cases involving large groups of claimants, and a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to mass claims. Key Responsibilities Case Management: Handle a caseload of mass litigation claims from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and efficient processing of cases. Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide clients with accurate and relevant legal advice. Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the litigation process. Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Collaboration: Work closely with other solicitors, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case preparation and representation. Trial Preparation: Assist in the preparation for trial, including compiling evidence, drafting witness statements, and strategizing with senior counsel. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards and contribute to the firm’s risk management processes. Qualifications Education: Qualified Solicitor in Scotland with a valid practicing certificate. Experience: Minimum of 1 Year PQE experience in mass litigation, with a proven track record in managing complex cases. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. High level of organization and attention to detail.
