The job:
This support is for a young man who is Autistic. He has a poor working memory and needs encouragement and prompting to complete tasks. A key part of the role is to keep him safe. Support may include light house work, helping him to prepare meals, enjoy activities in the local community and help him to develop independent living skills.
The right person:
You must be a good role model. Be someone who is a good communicator, who can use simple language and has good listening skills. You must have a good sense of humour and be able to develop a positive relationship. An understanding of Autism would be an advantage.
The Hours :
7 hours a week, worked across 5 days, including weekends. More hours may become available.
The Pay:
£11.44 per hour.
Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This post is subject to DBS checks, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
