They are looking for a Head of Employee Relations Operations & Case Management to lead their ER team.
Job Description
We're currently looking for a Head of Employee Relations Operations & Case Management to build and manage an ER and Restructuring team. The focus of the role will be on managing the ER and Restructuring Team that looks after 10,000 employees across the UK. In particular:
* Provide leadership, performance management, and guidance to the ER and restructuring team.
* Ensure that the ER team are seen as experts in disciplinary actions, terminations, and other performance-related matters, ensuring adherence to company policies and employment laws.
* Establish key metrics to measure the effectiveness of the ER team and provide regular reports to HR Directors on trends and areas for improvement and focus.
* Evolve and embed the company's approach to managing ER cases across the business, ensuring an appropriate risk-based approach is in place and that decisions are within risk appetite.
* Collaborate with HR and management teams to ensure that ER cases are managed consistently and fairly, promoting employee wellbeing.
* Provide advice and guidance to HR and business leaders on all aspects of employee relations issues, enabling them to develop and apply suitable solutions for business and employee issues.
* Identify employee relations training needs and facilitate workshops or training sessions to ensure that the ER team has the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours to deliver the best service to the Group.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Employee Relations Operations & Case Management should have:
* Extensive prior experience in Head of Employee Relations roles within large and complex organisations.
* Extensive experience in team and project management, including building teams and restructuring within ER.
* Autonomous with a pragmatic approach to sensitive matters.
* A background within Employment Law would be highly advantageous.
This role will require you to attend offices in Cardiff 2 days a week.
