THE ROLE
We are searching for a highly creative and visually driven Art Director & Designer who thrives on conceiving and crafting striking and compelling campaigns across multiple platforms. You’ll have an exceptional eye for detail, a deep understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to deliver outstanding creative solutions that bring brands to life.
Whether working independently, or in collaborations with other creatives, you’ll be hands-on in developing and executing concepts that span social, digital, motion, print, and experiential mediums. Whether it’s leading the visual direction of a campaign, shaping a brand’s identity, or refining the finer details of a design-led project, you’ll balance big-picture thinking with meticulous craft. You’ll play a key role in shaping our creative vision, pushing boundaries, and elevating the quality of our output.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Concept Development – Work individually or in partnership with other creatives to conceive, develop, and present big ideas that align with creative strategies and deliver on client briefs.
* Art Direction – Lead the visual direction of campaigns, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.
* Design Execution – Deliver conceptual and artworked design solutions across multiple channels, including social, digital, print, motion, and experiential.
* Creative Leadership – Drive the growth and standards of our multidisciplinary creative studio, inspiring and mentoring others where needed whilst supporting our Creative Partner in the day-to-day running of our small but growing creative department.
* Shoot & Edit Direction – Lead creative direction on shoots, from pre-production planning to on-set execution, and throughout post-production, ensuring high-quality visual output.
* Brand Guardianship – Maintain and evolve the visual identities of our pillar clients, advising on where to uphold brand consistency and where to push creative boundaries.
* Presentation Skills – Clearly and articulately present creative work, backed up by design rationale, both internally and to clients.
* Collaboration – Work closely with strategists, content creators, and production partners to bring creative concepts to life in innovative and visually impactful ways.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* An exceptional creative with an innate ability to think conceptually and solve visual problems.
* A social-native mindset with a strong understanding of how to design for key digital platforms and emerging trends.
* Strong hands-on design skills, with expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
* Fully integrated experience, with the ability to deliver creative across multiple media spanning print, digital, and motion.
* Experience in video, animation, photography, UX/UI, or illustration is highly desirable, with hands-on skills in any of these areas being a plus.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* A natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment.
* 5+ years of experience in a creative agency or similar setting.
* A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding creative work.

EVERYTHING ELSE
* 3-month FTC with view to move to perm
* Hybrid working: 5 days per week, with team office days on Wednesdays and some work from client offices and on shoot locations as needed

SALARY
£40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, with flexibility for more junior or senior applicants.
