What you'll do
1. You will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional digital experience for our customers.
2. Collaborating with Sainsbury's and Nectar360 groups, you will work to execute customer-centric activities for our suppliers across Sainsbury's digital platforms, driving our shared commercial business plans.
3. With responsibility for managing and delivering supplier media and activation within your business unit, you will work closely with key trading colleagues to optimise supplier investment and ensure alignment with Sainsbury's digital strategy.
4. Additionally, you will develop collaborative relationships with the largest Sainsbury's FMCG suppliers, prioritising activity and supporting them in delivering optimum execution online.
5. Monitoring performance against key metrics, analysing performance data, and providing regular updates to stakeholders will be a crucial part of your role.
6. As a direct line manager, you will lead a team of two and contribute to the evolution and development of our digital solutions for suppliers.
7. Your commercial acumen, negotiation skills, strategic planning abilities, and customer focus will be essential in driving the success of our eCommerce initiatives and achieving our goals in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Who you are
You are a highly driven and commercially astute professional with previous client management experience, ideally in the retail or FMCG industry. Your strong understanding of online retail and ability to build and deliver plans aligned with corporate strategy make you a valuable asset in driving the success of supplier media and activation across Sainsbury's Digital platforms. With a proactive and can-do attitude, you excel in managing projects under pressure and delivering results within deadlines. Your excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills allow you to foster collaborative relationships with key trading colleagues and suppliers, ensuring the optimal execution of digital investments. Your ability to anticipate risks and adapt to ambiguity, coupled with your willingness to embrace change, demonstrate your agility and proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
