Someone who has the ability to manage a security team and provide an efficient, flexible, and motivated team is pivotal to the success of this role. Full UK Driving License - essential. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus. Experience of operating budgets in excess of £5m. Experience in leading/managing multi-site contracts. Previous Security Management experience in similar industry. Very good presentation & organisational skills. Commercial Awareness. Very good numeracy and IT Skills including MS Software Packages. Strong influencing, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards What are you going to do: To be responsible for manning levels of contracted, ad-hoc and special events as per customer requirements including; recruitment, screening and vetting with Duty Managers, Administrators/Compliance and Central Scheduling ensuring that sufficient and suitable relief staff are available. To liaise and meet with customers and key clients on a regular basis to review & record contract performance, agree budgets and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained, leading to contract retention. Through direct site visits and/or via the Duty Managers - via SMART Task, ensure the safety & well-being of both customer staff & Corps colleagues. Monitor and manage revenue and costs in line with the current contract costing model and prepare monthly forecasts in line with accounting requirements. Ensure monthly meetings are planned with all clients and both KPI and meeting minutes are completed. Lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning. Identify areas for additional business, from both current & potential customers, and provide ongoing support to the Business Development team. Check and maintain the accuracy of the monthly & ad hoc invoicing to clients. Check, maintain and administer pay for all responsible colleagues; minimising pay queries, via reconcilliations.
