CAD/BIM Technician required in London\n\nGVR Solutions are currently working with an existing client of ours who specialise in the drylining sector. They cover a wide range of commercial fit out projects across London and the southeast.\n\nThey are looking for an experienced CAD/BIM Designer to join their well-established design team. The right candidate will be able to take a strong lead in projects and have extensive knowledge with all drywall systems.\n\nResponsibilities of the CAD/BIM Technician:\n\n * Be responsible for producing and setting out drawings and models for the approval of our clients whilst meeting their specification.\n\n * Making sure all elements drawn are priced for and correct\n\n * Liaising with estimating / Surveyors for possible changes to contracts, pricing awareness\n\n * Leading weekly meetings\n\n * Making sure all elements drawn are priced for and correct\n\n * Attend project Sites to compare drawings and specification as and when needed\n\n * Working with strict program dates to be upheld\n\n * Keeping track of comments received, checking back to make sure no extras are added\n\nThe CAD/BIM Technician must have/be:\n\n * A high amount of experience as a CAD/BIM Technician\n\n * Must be able to demonstrate working for a subcontractor\n\n * Ability to plan workload effectively to design programme\n\n * Ability to work on their own or as part as a design team on specific projects\n\n * Eye for detail and problem solving\n\n * Flexible in approach depending on project specific requirements\n\n * Strong motivation, organisation and communication skills\n\n * The ability to work well under pressure\n\n * A driven attitude\n\nIf you meet all the CAD/BIM Technician requirements above, then please get in touch
