We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher with experience in SEND to join their team. This role begins April 2025.
Duties as a KS1 Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
* Support pupils with SEND, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
* Work collaboratively with the SENDCo, support staff, and external professionals to implement EHCPs and individual learning plans.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
* Communicate effectively with parents/carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress and development.
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and social development.
Ideal KS1 Teacher:

Person Specification
Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching within KS1.
* A strong understanding of SEND and experience supporting children with additional needs.
* Ability to differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to inclusive education and a passion for ensuring all children reach their potential.
