Clinical Psychologist - Perm role Based in: Thornton Heath The Psychologist would need to have experience of working with adults of working age with long term complex care mental health issues Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Mental Health Team, providing specialist psychological support to adults of working age with long-term, complex mental health conditions. The role involves delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and consultation as part of a multi-disciplinary approach, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work with individuals experiencing severe and enduring mental health difficulties, including psychosis, personality disorders, complex trauma, and co-occurring conditions. The post-holder will contribute to service development, clinical supervision, and training while promoting trauma-informed and recovery-focused care. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including risk assessments, formulation, and treatment planning. Deliver evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, schema therapy) for individuals, groups, and families. Work with individuals experiencing complex and enduring mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and trauma-related difficulties.
