Our client who are a leading supplier and distributor serving the Construction, Engineering and Building sectors are currently recruiting for an experienced New Business Internal Sales Representative to join their vibrant team in Lanarkshire.
Job purpose:
As part of the expansion of our clients Building Solutions product range and reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for liaising with existing, lapsed and new clients, building relationships, promoting new and existing products to generate orders and leads.
Key responsibilities:
Create new business opportunities with potential customers
Develop additional sales of our products within our existing range
Using the project management database, you will confirm potential for our products, and then pass these enquiries to Sales Managers
Responsible for recording and managing the sales opportunities within the CRM database in conjunction with our Sales Managers
The role requires you to work independently, as well as alongside Sales Managers.
Essential requirements:
Proven track record working within an sale co-ordinator / B2B Sales / Customer Care role
Strong appetite to work in a customer focused role building relationships over the telephone
Strong administration skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to work as part of a team and own initiative
Offering
Salary from £24,000 - £26444 per annum DOE
Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm
Holidays 24 days plus 8 bank holidays
Hybrid working upon completion of training (2 days home and 2 days office)
