La Fosse is looking for a Mechatronice Engineer to be part of the technology team which provides designs and technical solutions to new technology innovations. You'll interpret marketing specifications and provide technical validated solutions to Engineering problems.

This exciting work includes developing 3D models, designing Prototypes, assessing performance and improving designs to meet the customers' current and future requirements. The role would also require various documentation skills to transfer the completed technology to the New Product Development Teams.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
Be involved in brainstorming, initial concept generation, rapid prototyping and testing to identify issues, problem solving and design improvement.
System-level design of complex mechanical/electromechanical ink jet components such as print head and ink systems.
Participate in Design reviews and DFMEA analysis of design concepts/prototypes to identify potential failure modes and improve the current design.
Working on new technology prototype printers to diagnose and solve complex issues.
Participate, and where necessary be responsible for, technical reviews, feasibility studies and project reviews, and provide technical support for other departments.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering (Degree or HNC level) or equivalent experience.
Strong problem-solving engineering skills.
Proven teamwork within multi-functional project teams.
Able to perform 'hands-on' assembly and test work related to design verification.
Able to express technical matters to associates from technical and non-technical departments, both orally and in writing.
A 'self-starter' who is eager for professional development within the Engineering team with guidance and mentoring from senior engineers and leaders.
