About this role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support with the timely preparation of the monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout. This position offers a balance between traditional financial responsibilities and working with the Financial Controller with a focus on continuous improvement to develop new systems and processes for a fast-growing business.

Main responsibilities
This job role will evolve with the rapid growth of the business, making this the perfect time to join and grow alongside the company. Main responsibilities will include:
* Support with the preparation and analysis of key elements of the monthly management account
* Prepare and review monthly KPIs
* Posting of accruals and prepayments
* Capex and fixed asset register reporting, including analysis of project costs incurred on telecoms network build programmes and monthly depreciation journals
* Supporting with payroll preparation and processing
* Providing robust financial analysis and to identify trends across the Group entities and supporting business cases
* Supporting with the year-end audit process and other statutory/regulatory requirements
* Business Partnering with other departments within the company
* Support the Financial Controller with the implementation of a new ERP/Finance system within the next 12 months
* Working with the Financial Controller to help drive efficiencies in spend across the Group entities
Working hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Experience required
* Qualified AAT
* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* IT literate with strong ability using Microsoft Excel.
