JOB PURPOSE:
The Hart Learning & Development Employability Team is looking for a passionate and driven Community Learner Engagement Officer. This is an exciting role that kick starts the learners journey and is where the 1st steps to change for those on their learning journey begins. You will be working within the local communities with our fantastic partners to recruit potential learners onto a range of Employability programmes. You will have excellent people skills and the ability to understand and help those with potential barriers to learning. This work is all about making a significant impact on the learners lives and enabling the next steps in their journeys.
We are already established within the local communities working with employers such as Avery Care and partners like Job Centre Plus so this role is about maintaining those great relationships to ensure we are the training provider of choice, but you will also be given the autonomy to develop new partnerships, share new ideas and look at new and innovative ways to create opportunities for local residents.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain effective relationships with Jobcentre Plus (JCP), third sector organisations, and other referral partners to identify potential participants.
Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders to offer suitable opportunities for learners and consistently achieve learner start targets and KPIs.
Provide strong Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to ensure successful enrolment onto appropriate learning programmes.
Implement strategies to target potential learners and promote our offerings, while keeping detailed records using our management systems.
Identify individual client motivators to ensure high enrolment numbers and support their progression into sustainable employment.
