PM Group requires project engineering support on a pharmaceuticals site in the North East.
Scope of Work
1. Working as part of the project management team, delivering a portfolio of capital projects.
2. Scoping equipment and user requirement specifications.
3. Collaborating with the project team to deliver project documentation and drawings.
4. Qualifying and reviewing equipment designs.
5. Managing and leading members of the client engineering team.
6. Working alongside existing client engineers, managers, and directors.
7. Leading the project team through all stages from design to construction and handover.
8. Acting as a client representative in meetings and discussions with third-party vendors.
9. Creating tender documentation, engaging potential suppliers/contractors, and providing in-depth tender analysis on bid returns.
10. Managing risk and change, securing additional budget as required.
11. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
12. Managing third-party contractors and offering input into process design and installation.
13. Collaborating with other client departments and providing technical support as required.
14. Developing engineering standards that support project delivery.
15. Other responsibilities in keeping with the project engineering role.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a project engineer on multiple pharmaceutical projects.
2. Knowledge of standard industry practices, procedures, and safety measures is essential.
3. Excellent communication skills, able to lead and focus a multi-disciplined engineering team.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to challenge and work with other technical engineers and project stakeholders.
