Job Summary
Are you passionate about equity/equality, celebrating diversity and embedding inclusion in the workforce? If yes, we have the ideal job for you! Due to maternity leave, we are recruiting an EDI Advisor on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The EDI function is part of the wider Organisational Development and Inclusion Service, one of three core teams within the People Team (HR directorate). In this role, you will champion evidence-based equity practices that help the organisation to embed inclusion within the workplace. No two days are the same but you can expect to be working on projects and initiatives which help to challenge discriminatory behaviours and promote allyship, bystandership, mutual respect, and our trust values: Ambition, Caring, Together. In 2024, we launched our new Integrated EDI Plan which sets out our commitments to embedding EDI in our workforce. As an EDI Advisor, you will play a key part in ensuring that policies, processes and initiatives are inclusive, celebrate differences and embed mutual respect across all areas of employment. The ideal candidate will have lived experience, as well as passion, drive and motivation for delivering equity. We support hybrid working and ask our teams to be flexible to reflect the diversity of our workforce, work patterns and to support the delivery of our EDI plan. For any questions contact the Head of OD & Inclusion Hashim Din (he/him).
