About the role
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience of:
- Developing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) concepts for future wind farms, covering strategic, technical, environmental, societal, and commercial factors.
- Evaluating emerging technologies and methodologies in O&M for potential opportunities in future wind farms.
- Visiting our operations sites and going offshore after basic training to gain first-hand insight into the day-to-day of O&M in offshore wind.
* Actively support the team by:
- Leading your own project related to a specific O&M concept on a developing wind farm or an emerging technology.
Job requirements and experience
* You’re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant science or engineering discipline.
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement.
* You are on track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher.
* You have very good verbal and written communication skills.
* You can coordinate your own workload and meet tight deadlines.
* You are comfortable working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders.
* You are open to travel to other sites if needed (travel expenses covered).
* Motivation is crucial; your cover letter should explain why you’re a suitable candidate and how it aligns with your studies & career plans.

* Your degree course is related to renewable energy.
