The Clinical Imaging Assistant will be required to undertake a very wide range of duties under the direct supervision of the Clinical Imaging staff, encompassing clerical, patient care, and the transportation of patients to all Imaging departments.

We are looking for a self-motivated, compassionate, caring, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual to help and support the clinical staff within the Clinical Imaging Department. Although based at Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, the post-holder will be required to travel to community sites on an ad-hoc basis. Therefore, the ability to travel independently between sites and have unrestricted access to a motor vehicle insured for business purposes is required.
You will need to be an excellent communicator with good inter-personal skills, have a practical approach, and mechanical aptitude. A good general education is necessary, including basic IT skills. Previous experience working with patients or customers and basic clerical/keyboard skills and computer literacy are essential for the post. Previous experience as a carer would be desirable.
