We have a current opportunity for a Technical Assistant on a temporary basis. This is a 3 month contract role providing project administrative support to a major engineering project team. Immediate start.
You would be responsible for performing technical and administrative duties to support the Projects and Engineering team. Key tasks include creating purchase requisitions (within SAP), inputting data into safety management software (Synergi) to ensure consistency across all functions (P&E/Ops/Maint), and updating technical procedures in line with technical instructions. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating meetings, preparing meeting minutes, issuing and tracking actions, supporting travel and logistics for the team, and archiving relevant documentation. This role is an integral part of the Project & Engineering team and is expected to handle highly responsible and confidential tasks in supporting team members with their daily work activities. The role involves both technical and administrative tasks, and applicants with demonstrable technical skills are preferred.
You will preferably be located in the Aberdeenshire area and be available more or less immediately. Candidates with experience of both SAP and Synergi are preferred.
