The role…
Job Title: Chef Manager
School Location: Fraser Youens Boarding House
Working Days: Mainly Monday to Friday (unit is open 7 days a week)
Shifts & Working hours: 7am-4.30pm (45 hours per week) Includes some late afternoons and weekends
Working Weeks: 42 weeks per year ( term time, inset days and 3 additional weeks)
Pay Details: £35,000 per year
Benefits: Bonus potential of up to 10% of salary (Companies Discression), free meals onshift, uniform, pension and other great company benefits
As Chef Manager you will oversee the catrering at the boarding house linked to the Royal Grammar School, Cooking for around 100 you will make sure all the services run smoothly- there are weekend and evening staff to do the out of hours but as manager you need to know your team.
Your Background…
We're open to people with great cooking and people management skills. You will be an experienced Chef Manager, used to cooking using fresh seasonal ingredients at volume, managing your kitchen and liaising directly with onsite clients.
As manager you will head up the team, making sure service runs smoothly and that all due diligence is adhered to.
We're not in the business of making school food, we're here to make good food, after all, that's why our clients and customers love us!
