Over 3 years you'll work at Skyscanner for up to 6 months, then pursue a full-time PDGE course, followed by 3 days at Skyscanner & 2 days teaching Computer Science per week.If you want to make a real impact, both in tech and in the classroom, this programme is for you.What's in it for you?

After the PGDE course : Spend 3 days per week working as part of a dynamic engineering squad at Skyscanner, solving real-world challenges in software development and 2 days per week teaching in a secondary school.

A passion for technology and a keen interest in education.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.As part of the PGDE qualification requirements you need to have:
Higher English and Nat 5 maths (or equivalent)
A degree with at least 80 SCQF credit points, 40 of these credit points must be at Year 2 Level.The 80 credit points should be from at least two of the following:
Computer SystemsSoftware DevelopmentDatabasesInformation SystemsYou will also need 40 SCQF credits in a computing subject relevant to the Computing curriculum taught in Scottish schools.
