Job Description
Scope and Objectives
You are responsible to oversee the entire operation and financial aspects of the outlet. You have to ensure the implementation and consistency of the company standards and support the Director of Food and Beverage in driving forward the outlet ambition of the management and ownership.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities
1. Ensure correct grooming standards are followed at all times
2. Responsible for the smooth operation of the outlet
3. Responsible of the Care Programme at all times
4. Follow up on all financials, LQA, Forbes and TrustYou targets and cascade it down to the team
5. Is aware of the daily, monthly and yearly financial targets
6. Actively contributes towards the achievement of financial targets
7. All issues and negative guest feedback need to be properly reported on Glitch system
8. Following up on opening and closing checklists
9. Maintains the HACCP & FIFO standards as required by the regional governing body
10. Handle financial procedures according to guidelines set by the finance department
11. Responsible for linking all facets of service, cuisine and entertainment
12. Assume the responsibility of daily operations
13. Handles security incidents, guest complaints with confidence and in a professional manner and report it in timely manner to the Director of Food and Beverage
14. Conducts daily briefings for all staff prior to commencement of each shift or assign it to the outlet Assistant Manager during the Restaurant Manager absence
15. Ensure all appropriate equipment is on hand for each service period
16. In charge of training, grooming and selection of casual labour (if needed)
17. Should be creative, confident and prepared to think outside of the box
18. Following the personal development plan set by the corporate office
19. Following team’s personal development and assign KPI’s in accordance with Hotel / Departmental goals
20. Ensure the operational inventory is always accounted for and in immaculate condition
21. Ensure the outlet maintenance is ensured at all time
22. Create opportunities for upselling products, establish sales goals and selling strategies
23. Develop the restaurant team to strive for excellence
24. Creates an efficient rostering system
25. Inspires heartists to create a flow of new and ‘improved’ ideas
26. Follow Hotel Evacuation Policy in case of an Emergency
27. Ensure awareness and delivers the optimum levels of service and guest satisfaction
28. Establish and maintain effective communication across all divisions
29. Lead by example through a passionate, hands on approach
30. Assist with collecting information for the monthly P&L review
31. Planning and coordinate menus with the outlet Chef
32. Ensure team’s food and beverage knowledge at all time
33. Carry out other duties as and when requested by the Director of Food and Beverage
34. Organising marketing activities and promotional events in cooperation with the marketing department and F&B Office
35. Preparing reports at the end of the operations including guest’s comments, sales report, general feedbacks
36. Responsible of the team recruitment in cooperation with the HR department
37. Responsible to cooperate with Masala Library corporate office and Chef
38. Develop a strategy of handling special guest’s requests and VIPs (including but not limited to the Royal Family)

Qualifications
Education and / or Experience :
* High School degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in a hotel or restaurant management field or equivalent experience preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of full-service restaurant experience required, 3 years in a leadership role preferred.
* Requires strong computer skills and proficiency in POS Systems, Purchasing Software, Time-Keeping Software and Microsoft Office
* Candidate must have experience with planning and project management.
* Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
* Experience in GCC preferred
