We are partnered with a growing global Financial Services client in seeking a Service Operations Manager to lead IT operational responsibilities across their enterprise technology estate. You'll be responsible for documenting operational technical improvements for engineering to develop and deploy, develop an operational strategy for 1st line to end user support in driving continuous improvements, and managing a modern cloud-first infrastructure.
What’s required for the role:
* Experience leading a global IT Operations team
* Background in developing an IT operations strategy providing 1st/2nd/3rd line technical support
* Experience in ensuring ITIL, DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering are fused together into integrated end to end processes
* Strong exposure to Azure Cloud Services, Infrastructure as Code and Azure DevOps and CI/CD for automation
* Proven ability to manage and improve IT operations and service management processes
* Strong technical knowledge of Modern Workplace technologies like Intune, Active Directory, 365/Copilots
* Extensive Change, Service and Knowledge Management, Capacity planning and ITIL knowledge
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and departments
* Passion for continual process and automation improvement to improve operational excellence
* Excellent communication skills to work within a dynamic changing environment
