Maintenance Engineer (Dual Skill)
You will be part of a diverse multi-skilled process and assemble maintenance team, working on equipment used in surface finish, heat treatment, Non Destructive Testing (NDT), paint & OE Assembly.
You'll have opportunities to learn and progress, with investment being made on site it's an exciting time to join our growing local team.

What will I be doing?
You will be responsible for the safe upkeep and reliability of production assets used in the manufacturing of aircraft parts.
• Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings to fault find & identify spare parts required.
• Documenting & prioritising work through a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
• Operate within all HS&E standards and Policies.
Candidate skills & requirements
What do I need to succeed in the role?
Essential:
• The ability to read mechanical drawings including assembly and schematics.
• You will be able to work as part of a team and independently.
• The ability to demonstrate fault finding skills/abilities.
• Fabrication and fitting skills (Core bench-fitting skills necessary).
• Experience using a CMMS.
• Be able to work safely and adhere to HS&E standards and policies.
• Time served engineering maintenance apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) or equivalent.
Preferred:
• Suitable experience working with furnaces, NDT equipment or surface finish equipment.
• Electrical experience/qualification.
• HNC in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of lean, 5s & 6 sigma methodologies.
